Student Athlete-AAU Track and Field

Madeena is a nine-year-old Muslim American Student-Athlete. She has been wearing a hijab for the last 2 years and during those years she has competed in AAU Track and Field. During 2018 she qualified for the Junior Olympics in three events: the shot put, the long jump and as a member of a 4×100 meter relay team. She was the lead off leg on her relay and they earned All American honors. She recently started playing basketball and she’s also an incredible student. Madeena is a true example that a Muslim girl can do anything!
