Nicknamed “Spiderwoman”, Aries is the women’s world record holder in speed climbing, which she achieved by clocking a time of 6.995 seconds at the 2019 IFSC Xiamen World Cup. As well, this made her the first woman to climb a speed wall in less than seven seconds. She had previously taken just 7.51 seconds to complete a climb, beating the runner-up by just over a second. She won the gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games recording a time of 7.84s. She has won numerous bronze, silver and gold medals as an individual competitor and in relays at the national, Asian and world series levels.

She was in Forbes Asia 30 under 30 list for 2019.
