Khadijab is the first African American, Muslim, and hijab-wearing athlete to compete for Team USA in the triathlon. In 2017 she competed in the 2017 Ironman in Cuba where she finished 2nd and returned to compete again in 2018 and finished first. She is also a mother of 10, including three adopted children.
