Zuleikha Chikh is the President of the University of Central Lancashire Students’ Union. She is passionate about increasing life chances for underrepresented communities through the power of sport so that they can thrive on and off the field. She actively represents minority women in sport on The FA Asian Women in Football Steering Group and Lancashire FA Inclusion Advisory Group to ensure those playing and making decisions about sport better reflects the communities they are in.
In 2020, Zuleikha graduated from UCLan with a Distinction in MSc Sports Business Management, and during her time as a student, she coached football and played an active role in her local community to support refugees and asylum seekers at the British Red Cross. In 2019, she featured in the top 30 Muslim Women in Sport Power List and was awarded Volunteer of the Year at Lancashire Sports Awards and UCLan Sports Personality of the Year.
