Mahdiyah is a volunteer coach with the Sport Against Racism Ireland programme, Hijabs and Hat Tricks and Football v Discrimination national school tour. As a graduate of the Michael Johnson Youth Leadership programme in the USA, Mahdiyah is the lead in the Global Equal Pay for Women in Sport. She is currently studying at Sunderland University, UK. She is a graduate of University College Dublin which gave her the organisational skills to develop a recruitment drive to engage young Muslim women in Sport.
