Kaltham Almatrooshi is a sports activist speaks to issues on disability. After a car accident which left her paralyzed, she established the Women’s Employment Association Disabilities in UAE. The continued support from her family, friends, and volunteers allow her to run her organization. Her organization uses sports to raise the issues of women with disabilities and publicize their rights and achievements so that they are decision-makers and also empower the women.
